TBM 850 Legacy

Boasting a top speed of 305 knots and a maximum range of 1,5000 nautical miles, the TBM 850 can soar to an altitude of 31,000 feet in under 20 minutes and land on a runway as short as 2,100 feet. It is capable of operating in hot and high-altitude conditions while comfortably transporting up to six passengers in an air-conditioned cabin.

This outstanding jet-like performance is complemented by single-turboprop economics, making it 50% more cost-effective per mile and 40% more fuel-efficient than other light aircraft. Powered by the reliable Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A turboprop engine, the TBM 850 features a highly robust airframe and streamlined skin for optimal aerodynamics.

Legacy Airframe

The TBM 850 Legacy features an airframe that is identical to the TBM 700C2, but boasts a new Pratt & Whitney PT6A-66D engine with a rating of 1,825 thermodynamic horsepower. The TBM 850’s main entrance door is placed aft of the left-hand wing, measuring 3.5 feet high and 3.9 feet wide. The spacious entrance design and extensive cabin area allow for easy loading and storage.

Some TBM 850 models come equipped with a second pilot entrance door (an optional upgrade priced at $75,000 at the time). The cabin includes two crew seats, two aft-facing middle row seats, and two forward-facing back seats as standard. The primary baggage compartment is located behind the two rearmost passenger seats, providing convenient access during flight.
